黄楊木雕是浙江乐清、温州一带著名的工艺美术品。它用来作为龙灯的装饰,或作为案头摆设以及建筑物上的装飾。解放后,由子党的重视,艺人归了队,并且在艺术上得到了輔导,因而作品的艺术水平得以逐步提高。为了迎接国庆,乐清工艺美术厂成立了“创作小组”,大家的创作热情和干勁都很高,相信会有更好的作品问世。
Boxwood carving is Yueqing in Zhejiang Province, Wenzhou area famous arts and crafts. It is used as a decoration for dragon lamps or as a desk ornament and as a decoration on a building. After the liberation, due to the emphasis of the Party, the artists were relegated to the military and instructed artically. As a result, the artistic level of the works gradually improved. In order to meet the National Day, Yueqing Arts and Crafts Factory set up a “creative team”, everyone’s passion and enthusiasm for the creation are high, I believe there will be a better work available.
