The famous writer Ma Lihua said in his book “Through Tibet” that he went with a Han doctor to go to the countryside for a visit: "The herdsmen greet him (Chinese medicine doctors) like Buddha statues, treating the disease routinely and dispensing medicines. In addition, he also used a stethoscope to press the patient’s head to cure a headache, according to the patient’s request, and took a click on the patient’s knee to cure the arthritis, and the patient showed a gratified smile. The doctor was very serious and lacking. A sense of humour. Serious falsification at this time, inevitably cramped, deliberately explain this kind of ’stem worship’: no way, they believe this, had to ’consolation’.
