So far, the most famous painting in the Warring States period is a few silk paintings centered on the Chu. Silk paintings in the image of the dragon, phoenix, or complex with other animals based. Most of these images can be found in the textual description of “Shan Hai Jing”, a real world and an imaginary world far beyond clan society. Can be said that the isomorphism of the map and the text outlined a mysterious and romantic cultural scene of the Warring States Chu.
