It is reported that the Ministry of Science and Technology has determined the implementation of the “Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Industrialization Development” project during the “Tenth Five-Year Plan” period. The main contents include: the development of new varieties of Chinese medicines and the research of key production technologies; the development of innovative Chinese medicine research and development capabilities and the protection of traditional Chinese medicine intellectual property rights. International Patent Application Strategy Study. This was Professor Xiao Shiying of the Center for Life Science and Technology Development of the Ministry of Science and Technology at the “WMO Workshop on the Development and Utilization of Tibetan Medicines and Research on the Protection and Use of Tibetan Drugs and Other Ethnic Drugs in 2001”
