Objective To understand the surveillance results of influenza-like illness (ILI) in the national sentinel hospital in Aksu region from 2009 to 2011, master the epidemic trend of influenza (influenza) and the characteristics of the virus strains and provide the basis for the prevention and control strategies. Methods Three distributions of ILI in outpatient and emergency department of sentinel hospital in 2009-2011, network laboratory results and outbreak information were statistically analyzed. Results A total of 4773 ILI cases were reported in Aksu region during 2009-2011. The ILI% of ILI cases was 3.26%. ILI mainly occurred in 4 046 cases (38.92%) in 5-14 years old group, followed by those under 5 years old There were 3,206 children (30.61%) of children, gathered in the small-age group of people; in 2009 there were 39 and 45-week double-peaked phenomena. The prevalence in 2010 and 2011 was relatively stable. A total of 1 425 pharyngeal swab specimens were detected, 153 were positive for influenza virus nucleic acid, the positive rate was 10.73%. Among them, 72 cases of influenza A (H1N1) were positive for 47.06%, and 54 cases of type B H1N1 influenza 35.29%, seasonal influenza in 27 cases, the positive constituent ratio of 17.65%, 2009 H1N1 strains for the dominant strain; 2010 B-type strains for the dominant; 2011 were isolated from the season strains, A and B type. The report of an outbreak of influenza, the virus strain of H1N1, occurred in school. Conclusion The Aksu area was very active in 2009 with Influenza A (H1N1). 2010 and 2011 are relatively stable, showing a declining trend year by year; ILI is mainly concentrated in students and children, virus strains 2009-2011 Type A and type B alternating with each other.
