Notch is a kind of signal receptor family which is very important to the phylogenesis and tumorigenesis of vertebrates and invertebrates. The activated Notch receptor binds to its ligand and then releases its intracellular domain through two proteolytic processes. Upon entry into the nucleus, the activated Notch receptor binds to the transcription factor CSL family and activates the target gene, precisely regulating the differentiation, proliferation and apoptosis of various lineages , Plays a key role in the decision of cell fate. Recent studies have shown that, Notch signaling pathway and ovarian physiology and pathology are closely related.
