第6届远东及太平洋地区残疾人运动会定于1994年9月4日——10日在北京举行,这届远南运动会将进行射箭、田径、羽毛球、轮椅篮球、硬地滚球、击剑、盲人门球、盲人柔道、射击、游泳、乒乓球、轮椅网球、坐式排球、举重等14个大项的比赛,根据残疾人比赛的特点,估计最后能确立的小项大致在500——600个之间。在我国举行过的三届残疾人综合性运动会上设立过的项目是:田径、游泳、乒乓球、射击、举重、轮椅篮球等6项。下面按英文字母的顺序将本届远南运动会14个竞赛项日作简要介绍。(一)射箭射箭是截肢、脑瘫、脊髓损伤3种残疾类型运动
The 6th Far East and Pacific Paralympic Games are scheduled to be held in Beijing from September 4 to September 10, 1994. The Far South Games will conduct archery, athletics, badminton, wheelchair basketball, boccia, fencing, blind Men’s Ball, Judo Blind, Shooting, Swimming, Table Tennis, Wheelchair Tennis, Sitting Volleyball, Weightlifting and other 14 major competitions. According to the characteristics of games for the handicapped, it is estimated that the smallest item that can be established last is roughly 500--600 between. In our country held three comprehensive handicapped sports events have been set up: track and field, swimming, table tennis, shooting, weight lifting, wheelchairs and other six.
