Barrett’s Esophagus (BE) has a high risk of developing an adenocarcinoma of the esophagus (Barrett’s Adenocarcinoma, BA), which has been confirmed by many scholars. This article summarizes this issue based on recent foreign literature. First, the research background BE refers to the normal stratified squamous epithelium at the lower esophagus is replaced by columnar epithelium at least 3cm.
