长株潭“两型社会”建设的主要做法可以归纳为以下四点:1、敢于先行先试;2、狠抓循环经济;3、实施项目带动;4、共谋经济一体化。长株潭的做法对武汉城市圈“两型社会”建设具有启示和借鉴意义。武汉周边八市对武汉城市圈“两型社会”建设都表现出空前的使命感、主动性和求实精神,对相关改革的认识已趋于深化,特别是在同武汉经济“对接”方面表现出极大的热忱和期待;八市在“两型社会”建设的对策研究上已形成有价值的初步成果;八市“两型社会”建设已主动起步,发展势头良好;八市对武汉城市圈“两型社会”建设提出了诸多值得重视的建议。武汉城市圈“两型社会”建设必须在协调机制上有切实保障;必须在先行先试上有重大突破;必须在发展环境上有重大创新;必须在政府改革上有重大进展;必须在资源整合上有重大举措;必须在两型经济发展上有政策支撑;必须在产业转移上有通盘考虑;武汉市自身必须做大做强,增强集聚力与辐射力,在“8+1”城市圈中真正发挥龙头作用。
