This paper introduces the composition and function of railway water supply centralized monitoring system which is reliable in communication and suitable for the distribution of railway water supply equipment. It combines GPRS, SMS, cable and radio station with four kinds of communication methods and its application in railway water supply in Shijiazhuang. Focus on the analysis of the characteristics of various communication methods, fees, the scope of application and the combination of four kinds of communication and pump open and stop, protection and control work principle.
