玉米在生殖生长旺盛时期,光合产物急需转化,由叶片(代谢源)向籽粒(代谢库)输送,而磷、钾元素对这个生理过程具有明显的促进作用。由于玉米中后期根系吸肥能力减弱,磷钾元素的吸收量不能满足玉米生长后期的需要,若能及时通过叶片给予补充,便能及时地协调玉米的源库关系,使籽粒饱满,提高产量。根据我站1981、1982年多点试验,即在玉米抽雄始期前后(八月初),喷施0.15%KH_2PO_4溶液,每亩喷肥液150斤,(亩用KH_2PO_4量为三两)与对照(喷清水)相比较,千粒重提高15.5克,每亩增产玉米56.8斤,增产率为8.9%。(见下表)
