1995年,张伟先后推出了两部长篇小说:《柏慧》和《家族》,成为人们持续关注的焦点。这两部小说的内在联系是显而易见的,无论从故事和人物分析;还是做主题学和技术层面研究,都看得出二者出于同一创作元胎,甚至可以说,两部书实为一部书。事情似乎是这样:张炜创作《家族》已数年之久,在接近完成之时,文艺界展开了“人文精神”讨论,这正是他在《家族》中要执意探讨的问题。他很想立即发表它,以对讨论中的否派意见做出回答。可他又太珍爱这部书了,不愿匆忙出手,于是就暂停《家族》的写作,抽出两个月时间,一气呵成,赶写了《柏慧》并率先发表。因此,《柏慧》可看作张炜参加“人文精神”讨论的一个发言,是《家族》的副产品。派生物和先声,又是一个“急就章”。它的草率是显然的,它甚至不是一个自足的文本。基于这一认识,我们的评论把它们合二为一。
In 1995, Zhang Wei has introduced two novels: “Bai Hui” and “family”, has become the focus of sustained attention. The internal relations between these two novels are obvious. No matter from the analysis of stories and characters, or from the research of thematic and technical aspects, we can see that both of them are out of the same originality and even the two books are actually one Book. Things seem to be like this: Zhang Wei’s creation of the “family” has been going on for years. When it was almost completed, the literary and art circles started the discussion of “humanistic spirit,” which is exactly what he insisted on in the “family”. He would very much like to publish it immediately in order to answer the negative opinion in the discussion. But he was too precious to this book, not willing to hurry shot, so he suspended the “family” of writing, took two months, one go, wrote “Bai Hui” and the first to publish. Therefore, “Bai Hui” can be seen as Zhang Wei’s participation in the discussion of “humanistic spirit” and is a by-product of “family”. School creators and forerunners, but also a “rush chapter.” Its sloppyness is obvious, it is not even a self-contained text. Based on this understanding, our comments combine them.
