The author firstly determined the logP of hydroxyethyl vanillin compounds through experiments, and then calculated the logP of these compounds by using the Leo fragment method and Hansch-Fu-jita π addition law to compare the results. Measurement method: A certain amount of sample was added with an appropriate amount of methanol to dissolve, and a certain concentration of a saturated aqueous solution of n-octanol was formulated. The maximum absorption peak wavelength was obtained by performing a full wavelength scan of Shimadzu UV-300.
