自从大学扩招以来,一个教学班由原来的20—25人一下扩大到70多人,教与学俱感困难。为此,笔者在本学期初采用动态分析问卷调查了解学生学习动态。调查结果显示:1)90%以上同学的学习动机与学习意愿完全一致,都希望将来在外贸领域就业;2)学习态度与动机、意愿有较大差距,不利的学习条件影响了学习积极性。师生在调查后,共同探讨克服困难、改进教和学的方法,在认知调整后于6月中旬举行的第二次问卷调查中,自认学习态度有明显进步的同学占全班人数的84%。能较深刻理解商业目标和商业策略是写好英语商业信函的先决条件的同学有40%,认为懂得中英文化的巨大差异才可能更好地学习本课程的占51%;认为提高汉语表达能力是提高英语信函写作水平的重要条件的同学也有48%。在师生共同努力的过程中,出现了大班上课难得的既认真又活泼的局面。
Since the college enrollment, a teaching class expanded from the original 20-25 to more than 70 people, teaching and learning all sense of difficulty. To this end, the author uses a dynamic analysis of the questionnaire survey early this semester to understand the dynamics of student learning. The survey results show that: 1) more than 90% of students are motivated to learn exactly the same intentions to learn and all hope to find employment in the field of foreign trade in the future; 2) there is a wide gap between learning attitudes and motivation and willingness; unfavorable learning conditions affect the enthusiasm of learning. After the investigation, teachers and students jointly explored ways to overcome difficulties and improve teaching and learning. In the second questionnaire survey conducted in mid-June after the adjustment of cognition, the students who perceived a marked improvement in their learning attitude accounted for the whole class 84%. 40% of the students who can understand business goals and business strategies more clearly are prerequisites for writing English business correspondences, and think it is 51% better able to understand the huge differences between Chinese and British cultures. They think that they can improve their Chinese language skills There are also 48% of the classmates who are important conditions to improve the writing quality of English letters. During the joint efforts of teachers and students, a serious and lively situation has emerged in which large classes are rare.
