三十年代初期苏联文学译介史上,鲁迅应神州国光社之约编定的《现代文艺丛书》因其规模大,成体系,名著多,译者强而备受关注,影响甚大。所拟译的十部苏联著作仅四部出版后,此套丛书便戛然而止,更使得神州国光社因“害怕围剿,仓皇毁约”落人口实。而还原三十年代初神州国光社与十九路军的归属关系与政治文化诉求,则可以发现《现代文艺丛书》作为第三种政治力量在文化领域探索的一种尝试,其命运与第三种政治力量的沉浮息息相关。
