不久前,笔者随江苏省远洋渔业考察组赴拉丁美洲的厄瓜多尔、尼加拉瓜两国,就渔业合作的可行性问题进行考察。考察期间,受到这两国政府友好热情的接待,就渔业资源、生产现状、投资环境、渔业合作可行性问题,与他们的渔业官员、友好厂商进行了交谈,并实地考察了渔港、码头、加工厂以及渔船捕捞和鱼市场情况,参观了厄瓜多尔的虾类养殖,并考察了尼加拉瓜的淡水渔业,查阅和整理了两国有关渔业生产技术资料和文件。通过考察,使我认识到:开发拉美渔业,不但对南通市海洋捕捞的发展意义极大,而且对南通市外向型经济的发展也具有重要意义。
Not long ago, with the Jiangsu Provincial Oceanographic Investigation Team visited Ecuador and Nicaragua in Latin America, I conducted an inspection on the feasibility of fishery cooperation. During the visit, the two governments received friendly and enthusiastic receptions, held talks with their fishery officials and friendly manufacturers on the issues of fishery resources, production status, investment environment and the feasibility of fishery cooperation. They also inspected fishing ports, wharves, processing Fisheries and fishing vessels in the fishing fleet, visited shrimp farming in Ecuador, inspected the freshwater fisheries in Nicaragua, consulted and compiled technical information and documents on fishery production in the two countries. Through the inspection, I realized that the development of Latin American fisheries is of great significance not only for the development of marine fishing in Nantong City, but also for the development of Nantong’s export-oriented economy.
