翻开报纸,改革的春风扑面而来:要闻版、经济版甚至一些创刊版,都以改革为中心。报纸上大量宣传改革,无疑是和党中央保持一致的表现。这几年,改革能够迅速地深入发展,报纸宣传确实立了一大功的。然而,也有些关于改革的报道,其实只是加了个“改革”的字眼,至于那内容,算不上改革,只不过是些小的改动或改进。举例说吧:某报在“改革出新人”的大标题下,讲了几个小故事。其中有这样两则:有个二十八岁的小伙子,过去当裁剪工,推刀推得不好,但是他自小喜爱美术,画个画,写个美术字,很有“一把刷子”。于是,“厂领导大胆决定”,调他进技术科搞设计,终于干出了成绩。另一则是写一个青年工人

A great deal of propaganda and reform in the newspapers is undoubtedly a manifestation of consistency with the party Central Committee.
