With the peasants entering the city, the changing direction of returning home and the requirements for the transition of village governance in the new era, the role and status of rural migrant workers in the village political participation have also entered the public view, arousing academic concern. Based on the analysis of the mountainous villages in central China, this paper tries to consider peasant workers as an independent variable to investigate the relationship between peasant workers and village politics. The author analyzes the evolution of village political ecology since the peasant migration As a clue to examine how migrant workers gradually change their political outlook. The core problem to be solved in this article is the specific role of peasant workers as independent variables in the reform of the village governance in the Shahe Village and the reconstruction of the new political ecology. It is also analyzed whether this change in Shahe Village politics is dominated by the peasant workers’ individual behavior or The role of government or the result of state will.
