本文报导一种仅用数分钟即可从沙门氏和志贺氏菌中区别出变形杆菌的新方法。用灭菌白金耳挑取几个菌落转放在一小条Whatman-B D H pH试纸上(pH范围为6~8),试纸下放一张白色吸水纸。用巴氏移液管在接种物和试纸上加少许2%(W/V)尿素水溶液,其量恰恰可使试纸浸湿。如被检菌为变形杆菌,局部pH可达9左右,1分钟内培养物周围呈天蓝色,并向四周扩散,约15分钟后扩散停止,即为阳性反应。沙门氏或志贺氏菌不出现天蓝色变化,为阴性反应。试验完毕后,将试纸焚烧或高压灭菌。作者用这一方法检测350个从粪便中分离到的不发酵乳糖的菌落,包括变形杆菌、大肠杆菌、绿
This article reports a new method for distinguishing Proteus from Salmonella and Shigella in minutes. Pick up a few colonies of sterile white gold and place on a strip of Whatman-B D H pH paper (pH range 6-8). Place a piece of white absorbent paper on the test strip. A small 2% (w / v) aqueous urea solution is added to the inoculum and strip using a pasteur pipettor just enough to wet the strip. If the test bacteria are Proteus, the local pH up to about 9, the culture was blue sky around 1 minute, and spread to four weeks, about 15 minutes after the diffusion stopped, is a positive reaction. Salmonella or Shigella does not appear sky blue changes, as a negative reaction. After the test, the test strips will be incinerated or autoclaved.
