AT&T Bell实验室最近报导了一种双电极DFB激光器的制作方法和特性。通过将一个区域偏置到阈值以上,另一个区域当作相位调制器,得到均匀的FM响应从100kHz到300MHz。在这种工作条件下的线宽窄到10MHz。
AT & T Bell Labs recently reported on a two-electrode DFB laser fabrication method and features. By biasing one region above the threshold and the other region as a phase modulator, a uniform FM response is obtained from 100 kHz to 300 MHz. The linewidth is as narrow as 10MHz under these operating conditions.
