丝锥在攻盲孔螺纹时,切削锥部切削刃经常发生崩齿现象,特別是当被加工材料的机械性能较好和切削螺纹的螺距大于1.5毫米时,崩齿现象更为严重。这是由于丝锥回拧时,切屑卡在切削锥后面与已加工面之间所引起的。如图1所示,丝锥在孔内停止吋,切削锥每个刀齿前留下了切屑根(未被完全切掉的切屑)。丝锥拧出时,切屑根落到前一齿的铲背面下,切屑的挤压引起力P挤压和刀齿沿MK线崩刃。
