If Piemonte in northwestern Italy is home to one of Italy’s most intriguing delicacies, there may be some controversy! Even I hesitated to vote in Emilia-Romagna. But if Alba is a diamond on an Italian gourmet map, few should object. Albania, with a population of only 30,000, is an affluent town in the province of Cuneo in the south-central Piedmont region, ancient and sophisticated, with an ancient city of 2700 years old, rich in rare and precious gold and gold victorious white gold in the nearby Langhe hilly region Truffle, and become the truffle capital of Italy. Alba is now synonymous with top-level white truffles, a name that makes many gourmets listen to saliva.
