魏喦寿是我国近代工业微生物学奠基人之一,也是我国首位在Science上发表论文的微生物学家。魏喦寿(1900-1973年),浙江鄞县人,是我国微生物学先驱,也是我国白酒研究专家。魏喦寿在上海南洋中学毕业后,于1921年考取政府公费,进入日本京都大学化学工程科深造,1926年毕业回国,参加北伐战争,在国民革命军的技术单位服务。此后1927-1930年他在上海国立卫生实验室从事研究工
Wei Yanshou is one of the founders of modern industrial microbiology in China and one of the first microbiologists who published papers in Science in China. Wei Yanshou (1900-1973 years), Zhejiang Yin County, is a pioneer in China’s microbiology, but also China’s liquor experts. After graduating from Shanghai Nanyang High School, Wei Yanshou got the government fee in 1921 and entered the Chemical Engineering Department of Kyoto University in Japan. After graduating in 1926, he returned to participate in the Northern Expedition and served in the technical units of the National Revolutionary Army. Since 1927-1930 he has been a research worker at Shanghai National Health Laboratory
