Skins U.K. vs. Skins U.S.（《皮囊》：迷乱青春错中错）
I was less than thrilled(兴奋的) with the American Skins because its first episode was so very close to the original that it felt as if something was being reworked unnecessarily.

I know there’s a certain reactionary type who will always favor the original or early version of things because it makes them feel more avant garde(前卫的). But there is a better argument for preferring the U.S. version. Apart from Gervais(瑞奇·热维斯，英国喜剧演员，英国版《办公室》的主演兼制片人), the U.S. cast is clearly better. The elegance of the program is obvious.

The first couple episodes of the American version of Shameless are near-exact replicas(复制品) of their British counterparts. And while there’s a little something lost in translation, the show retains enough of the core of the original that—bolstered(加强) by strong performances from top to bottom—it’s as good a remake as any import since The Office.
