Methods of extracting adsorbed and absorbed gas from rocks (sediments) can be used to predict the mineral deposits because these gases gradually accumulate and remain in the rock. Fluid from the mantle replenishes the pyrolysis adsorbent fluid, and fluids that migrate to the surface create lithospheric gas fields. Background gas fields generated in this manner may be affected by the physical field and fluids from different deposits. The physical field of the deposit may change the composition of the background gas field.
