Objective To study the effect of gingivaldal on cerebral circulation dynamics in patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods Sixty patients with acute carotid system acute cerebral infarction were randomly divided into the treatment group (treatment group) and the conventional treatment group (conventional group). The cerebral circulation dynamics (CVDI) before and after treatment were measured by cerebral circulation power detector. Results The minimum carotid blood flow velocity (Vmin), the minimum carotid blood flow (Qmin) and the decrease of cerebrovascular resistance (R) in patients with acute cerebral infarction after ginkgo dipyridol infusion were lower than those in the conventional group The difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The improvement of CVDI in the treatment group was obviously better than that of the control group. It indicated that the ginkgo-damo could reduce the resistance of cerebrovascular and increase the blood supply of cerebral artery, which is benefit to the recovery of brain function. Conclusion Ginkgo biloba can improve cerebral circulation kinetics in patients with acute cerebral infarction, and has a good therapeutic effect on patients with acute cerebral infarction.
