文章采用回顾性方法比较研究了MDS(骨髓增生异常综合征)及其他9种疾病时,骨髓中小巨核细胞出现的情况,MDS时骨髓小巨核细胞的检出率可达80％,其他恶性骨髓增生性疾病亦可有类似改变。作者建议以“小核型巨核细胞,(小核巨核)来命名这种细胞,并对这种细胞的本质及其对MDS的诊断意义作了讨论。

The authors suggest that "small nuclear megakaryocytes, (small nuclear megakaryocytes) be used to name such cells and the nature of such cells and their diagnostic significance for MDS are discussed.
