随着新疆老年人口的不断增加,如何让老年人身心健康,适应现在社会的快速发展,享受质量好的晚年生活成为社会不得不关注的问题。国内外的研究证明,解决老年人身心健康问题的一个较好的手段就是体育。老年人体育属于群众体育的范畴,发展老年人体育也是落实全民健身计划的一部分。很多老年人表示,参加老年人体育锻炼,既可以锻炼身心,又可以丰富日常生活,我们开心了,每天都有事可做,让子女也放心不少,这样从小方面讲促进了家庭和谐,从大方面来看,这样间接促进了社会的和谐发展。
