在小平同志诞辰110周年之际,我们深切缅怀小平同志对家乡人民的亲切关怀,特别是他心系家乡建设,欣然为广安凉滩电站题写站名一事,让家乡人民一直铭记在心。这是他为广安萃屏公园题写园名之后为家乡人民留下的另一珍贵墨宝。1982年12月,广安县在渠江上游凉滩兴建水电站,这是广安在渠江拦坝建设的第一座水电站。1984年7月,当时广安县委、县政府为激励广安人民和电站建设者的建设热情,加快广安的发展,给敬爱的小平同志写了一封信,汇报了广安的建设发展和凉滩电站建设情况,请他为凉滩电站题写站
