2006年年末,我国西部大开发战略实施已经走完第七个年头,在这七年的发展过程中,西部地区在基础设施、生态建设以及产业结构等方面取得了明显成效。但是,与高速发展的东部地区相比,仍有很大差距。在“十一五”规划的大背景下,如何有效解决西部地区发展中的旧矛盾与新问题,缩小东西部地区的差距,对建设和谐中国具有重要意义。
At the end of 2006, the seventh anniversary of the implementation of the strategy for the great development of the western region has been completed. During the seven years of development, the western region has made remarkable achievements in infrastructure, ecological construction and industrial structure. However, there is still a long way to go compared to the fast-growing eastern region. Under the background of the 11th Five-Year Plan, how to effectively solve the old contradictions and problems in the development of the western region and narrow the gap between the eastern and western regions is of great significance to building a harmonious China.
