韩国的“三·一”独立运动和中国的“五·四”爱国运动,均是第一次世界大战结束后出现在东北亚的群众性运动。两大运动在相继的时间坐标、相近的区域空间、相似的行为主题、相同的性质特征等方面存在众多的相似点,成为学术界希望迫切揭开的谜。自近代以来,有着百年校龄的北京大学,见证、影响、实践着20世纪中国走向自由、民主、富强的坎坷历程,而这种历程的直接开端是1919年的“五·四”爱国运动。但从学术界的研究状况
The independence movement of South Korea and the “May Fourth” patriotic movement of China are all mass movements that emerged in Northeast Asia after the First World War. There are many similarities between the two major movements in successive time coordinates, similar regional space, similar behavioral themes, the same nature and characteristics, and become the mystery that academia hopes to urgently launch. Since its establishment in recent years, Peking University, with a hundred years of schooling, has witnessed, influenced and practiced the ups and downs of China’s transition to freedom, democracy and prosperity in the 20th century.
