Aristotle divides the rational part of soul into two parts, one is the scientific part and the other is the calculated part. The scientific part of the soul is about invariant objects, forming the general theoretical knowledge of intellect. The calculation part of the soul is about variable objects, it is mainly the practice of wisdom, that is, intelligence. There are different kinds of Intellect and intelligence, can not be confused. However, the popular dogmatism of modern epistemology ignores the difference between the two. It is precisely under the influence of intellectualist legends that people use the virtue of virtue to translate the so-called virtue of Aristotle’s so-called rational counterpart to the soul. The legend of intellectualism is reflected in ethics, showing that ethics ignores practical wisdom and morals are simplified into theoretical activities.
