I. Structure of Hong Kong Hospital Service Network The organization of the Hong Kong Government Administration Hospital is the Hospital Authority (established in December 1990). It has 41 different types of hospitals and other medical institutions and 48 specialist out-patient clinics. There are approximately 46,000 employees and the total number of beds is 25,000. Medical services cover all corners of Hong Kong. The Hospital Authority has established a patient-centered service aim for the hospital and strives to provide high-quality healthcare services to the general public in Hong Kong. The medical service network of Hong Kong hospitals is divided by the Hospital Authority by region. The development of the Hong Kong hospital network is one of the important tasks of the Hospital Authority. The goal of the development network is to make hospitals, medical institutions, and specialist centers within the network according to their structures and Functions, undertake different service tasks, realize different functions, play different angles
