电脑,这种曾在中国人的眼中不知为何物的东西,如今越来越多地进入了普通百姓家。据统计,1992年以前我国电脑年销售量平均在8万至10万台,1992年增加到20万台,1993年达到40万台,而且其中有10%左右进入了家庭。除了我国原有的教育电脑公司、长安集团外,四通、联想、长江等电脑集团都纷纷开发家用电脑。在一些较大规模的电脑展示会上,咨询者不断,有时连展品也被抢购一空。面对这种不断增长的电脑消费趋势,一些专家乐观地预言,五年内我国家用电脑销售量会超过百万台。一些外国报刊也预计中国将成为世界上最大的电脑消费国。
