On June 18, 2010, Guardian Online (www.artrade.com), the largest online trading platform for artworks in China, is about to celebrate its 10th birthday. Guardian Online is a fun case. For the art market, it differs from the traditional auction houses in terms of different values, different service models and different market positions. For e-commerce, it chooses the most commonly sold works of art in the virtual world as the main concept. This enterprise, which was born during the Internet bubble period, appears to be incompatible with both fields. Its decade is full of questioning and exploration. After examining this decade, we can see the Chinese online auction, the art market and even the entire Chinese consumption concept Update changes.
