8月11日，一批巴西凍品牛肉在沙坪坝区国际物流枢纽园开箱，标志着西部陆海新通道成功运回首批原箱进口巴西冻品牛肉。此次运输的原箱进口牛肉约84吨，货值近400万元人民币。货物从巴西巴拉纳瓜港出发，海运至广西钦州港，再转乘西部陆海新通道铁海联运班列抵达重庆，全程耗时48天，较江海联运方式节省约20天时间。本次运输采用原箱进口模式，从巴西运至重庆实现“一箱到底”，减少了中间流程，还为企业节约上万元成本。

The imported beef in original containers of this shipment approximated 84 tons， with a value of nearly 4 million yuan. Having been shipped from Paranagua Port in Brazil to Qinzhou Port in Guangxi and transferred to the New Land-sea Channel in Western China rail-sea multi-modal train to in Chongqing， the freight took a total of 48 days， and saved about 20 days compared to river-sea multi-modal transportation. The shipment adopted the import model of original container， and achieved the "one same container throughout the entire shipment" from Brazil to Chongqing， reducing intermediate processes and saving up to a cost of over 10，000 yuan for enterprise.
