自古以来,满族及其先人就将长白山视为整个民族乃至众多家族的发祥地。在满族的整体民族意识中,对长白山无比的崇敬和近于宗教式的敬畏、乃至于发自民族灵魂中的向往与热爱,成为满族的民族根基。在满族入关之前,这种民族意识就已经非常强烈。在满族入关之后,对民族兴起和昌盛之地的长白山,满族更是表现出了自觉而强烈的认同意识,长白山的神圣地位也因此更为突出。顺治、康熙时期,八旗入关未久,是统一和稳定全国的阶段,大量军事、政事和繁杂的事务困扰着刚刚建立的大清政权。即便如此,满族仍然在浓烈的以长白山为发祥地的族源意识驱动下,对东北满族发源地给予了特别的关注。
Since ancient times, Manchu and its ancestors regarded Changbai Mountain as the birthplace of the entire nation and many other families. In Manchu’s overall national consciousness, the incomparable reverence for the Changbai Mountain and its awe-related reverence, and even the aspiration and love from the soul of the nation, have become the national foundation of Manchu. Before Manchu entered the customs, this sense of nationality was already very strong. After the Manchus entered the country, the Manchu people in Changbai Mountain and Manchu, which showed great national aspirations and prosperity, showed a strong sense of self-awareness and recognition. Therefore, the status of Changbai Mountain was even more prominent. Shunzhi, Emperor Kangxi period, the banner of the Eight Banners into the customs is not long, is the stage of unification and stability throughout the country, a large number of military affairs, political affairs and complicated affairs plagued the just established Qing regime. Even so, the Manchu people still paid special attention to the birthplace of the Manchu people in northeast China, driven by the strong ethnic consciousness that originated from Changbai Mountain.
