地处圣路易斯市的美国密苏里植物园,每年都有一个为期三个月的“元宵灯会”。这个灯会的特别之处,一是它直接使用了“元宵节”的名称,二是它的规模号称亚洲之外最大的灯展,是直接从中国“引进来”的,属原汁原味。漫步其间,在传统中国民乐声中,几乎体会不到身处异域。灯会共设置了22组大型灯展台,每一组展台都描述着一个中国经典的传统文化故事。有配套说明讲解该文化习俗的特征、意义及节日的由来。包括红色在中国意味着什么,黄色象征着什么等。灯会已经成为了解中国民俗、中华历史文化的窗口。灯会开幕式在下午开始,传统的舞龙是必不可少的项目,之后有中国的杂技表演,华裔及中文学校的学生表演。
Located in St. Louis, Missouri Botanical Garden, the United States every year for a period of three months “Lantern Festival ”. The special feature of this lantern festival is that it directly uses the name of Lantern Festival and its scale is the largest lantern show outside Asia and is directly from China to bring in the original Original juice.
