袁运生,一九三七年生于江苏南通。1962年毕业于中央美术学院油画系董希文工作室。1978在云南博物馆举办个展。出版“云南白描写生集”。1978年在中央工艺美术学院任教,同时创作北京国际机场壁画“泼水节·生命的赞歌”。1980年在中央美术学院壁画系任教。1982年应美国政府邀请访问美国。1983年应聘为波士顿塔夫茨大学访问艺术家。应邀为该校图书馆创作壁画《红+兰+黄=白(关于两个中国神话)》。
Yuan Yun-sheng was born in 1937 in Nantong, Jiangsu. In 1962 graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Dong Xiwen painting studio. 1978 solo exhibition held in Yunnan Museum. Published “Yunnan white description collection ”. In 1978 the Central Academy of Arts and Design, at the same time writing Beijing International Airport mural “Songkran Festival, life’s hymn ”. 1980 taught at the Central Academy of Fine Arts murals. In 1982 at the invitation of the U.S. government to visit the United States. 1983 Candidates for the Boston Tufts University visit to the artist. Was invited to create murals for the school library “red + blue + yellow = white (on two Chinese myths).”
