The island and nearshore groundwater is formed under the combined influence of ocean and land (rock media). Under natural conditions, there is a high Cl- content in the low mineralized groundwater in the islands and coastal zones, and there is no statistical linear relationship between Cl- and salinity in the inland areas. Another effect of the ocean on groundwater is that in the seawater intrusion zone, the groundwater quality in the nearshore zone shows special evolutionary characteristics in the macroscopic level due to the mixing effect and the alternating adsorption of cations.
