徐光炜肿瘤外科教授,博士研究生导师。多年来历任中国抗癌协会正、副理事长、中华医学会肿瘤学分会正、副主任委员、中国抗癌协会胃癌专业委员会主任委员、中国社会工作协会防治乳腺癌专项基金常务副理事长、北京乳腺病防治学会名誉会长、北京大学肿瘤医院名誉院长等职。从医五十余年,致力于乳腺癌和消化道肿瘤的防治研究,立志从医到成为肿瘤防治专家,徐光炜教授用三个阶段的经历概括了他的业务成长。一、青年时期:积淀—重视业务学习与钻研1956年以优等生毕业于上海第二医学院(前上海圣约翰大学医学院,现为上海交通大学附属医学院)医疗系,后被分配至北京医学院附属第一医院(现北京大学第一医院)外科。1969年起在普通外科专业的基础上开始专攻肿瘤专业。1973年,为响应周总理攻克癌症的号
