据《中华人民共和国药典》载,金樱子为蔷薇科植物金樱子的干燥成熟果实。其炮制方法是:除去杂质及残留的毛刺,洗净,干燥。金樱子肉是取其净金樱子,略浸,润透,纵切两瓣,除去毛、核,干燥。《河南省中药材炮制规范》中记载金樱子的炮制方法与《中国药典》大致相同。目前,本市各医院从医药公司购买来的金樱子均属未炮制品,需再加工炮制后方能配方。炮制方法基本上是按《药典》进行的,但按这种方法炮制非常麻烦,且费工费时,工效低,收益小,为此多数医院宁可不购进未炮制好的金樱子,导致临床配方缺用,从而直接影响了临床用药的疗效。
