作者对美国佐治亚州埃文斯县女性被动吸烟与20年心血管病死亡的关系进行了研究和分析。 1960~1961年曾对该县居民进行过心血管病普查,内容包括危险因素调查、体格检查、人口统计学登记及病史询问等。以这次普查资料为基线,选取在1960年年龄为40~74岁的已婚妇女513人为研究对象。(女性吸烟者、本人或丈夫吸烟状况不明者及丧偶者除外)。以丈夫有吸烟行为者为被动吸烟暴露组,否则为非暴露组,在全部研究对象中共有白人328人,其中有暴露者占55%;黑人185人,其中有暴露
The authors studied and analyzed the relationship between female passive smoking and 20-year cardiovascular mortality in Evans County, Georgia, USA. From 1960 to 1961, a survey of cardiovascular diseases was conducted on the residents of the county, including investigation of risk factors, physical examination, demographic registration and history inquiry. Based on this census data, 513 married women aged from 40 to 74 in 1960 were selected as the research subjects. (Female smokers, other than those who have been smuggled or widowed by themselves or their husbands).
