The toxic effect of vinyl chloride (VC), with the polymerization of vinyl chloride workers increased the incidence of hepatic angiosarcoma and gradually attention. In the industrial sector, the main route of VC absorption is through the lungs. Although there is no evidence that human skin has an absorption effect, it can not be excluded that a vinyl chloride compound has been found to penetrate the skin of the contacted monkey. Buchter et al. Reported that the retention rate of VC in the lungs was 26-28%, but these results were only obtained from two individuals exposed to 2.5 PPm of VC, and as a result, there is a high possibility of error. The purpose of this study was to determine the retention rate of VC in human lungs.
