Yang Gui-ying, an Miao woman from Tubao Township, Laifeng County, Hubei Province, saw the organs in the county building a water tower on the roof and was inspired to plan the construction of pond fish in her own roof. After calculating the pressure-bearing capacity of the house, she brushed a layer of asphalt on the roof, laid an 8-centimeter thick cement mortar, built a 1.5-meter-high pond wall around it, left the water outlet and built a 60 Square meters of fish ponds. She spent 40 yuan to buy more than 400 tail carp, silver carp, grass fry, into the pond. She mainly feeds some leaves, grass, bran and so on. In order to prevent summer fish heat stroke, she took a shed on the fish pond, often put cold water into the pond, but also a small amount of lime water and garlic juice into the water disinfection. Most of the fish in the pond have now grown to more than a pound. It is estimated that by the end of the year it will be available for sale, while less revenue will be on the order of a thousand dollars.
