當前在學校裏進行鎮壓反革命的愛國主義教育是有必要的。有不少的學校已組織了教職員工們的學習,舉行討論會、控訴會、報告、參觀鎮壓反革命的展覽會,出牆報、畫報、郊外宣传活動等等,這是很好的。通過這些活動,使青年學生們在思想上進一步分清敵我,克服麻痺思想,批判不正確的看法,站穩人民立場,這就是我們教育的目的。在進行鎮壓反革命的愛國主義教育時,首先要從學校與國家的關係方面,使青年學生認識到:學校是整個國家機構的一部門,任何部門遭到破壞,都是與學校血肉相關的,與教職員工們的生活和工作血肉相關的。何况特務匪徒是無孔不入的,事實證明,從小學到大學,都已發现過隱藏的反革命分子。為了鞏固整個的國家,也為了鞏固我們的學校,保證教學計劃的完成,保障學校生活與家庭生活的安寧,就必须大家提高警惕,眼睛放亮些。那種認為鎮壓反革命只是公安部門的工作,與學校無關的看法是錯誤的。其次,要從歷史方面,使青年學生認識到:反革命分子是愛國青年學生的死對頭。三十年來青年學生的愛國行為,莫不遭到反革命的鎮壓和迫害——
