艺术地创造空间环境,在我国已有悠久的历史和丰富的实践经验,尤其是中国的古典园林,在空间的处理上有着独树一帜的艺术特色。历代建筑师和园艺家们无不在空间的创造上花费大量心思,他们巧妙地运用空间的变化规律,或浸透、或连隔、或虚实,使原有的有限空间小中见大,局促中见舒展,在空间中造成一种不定性的模糊概念,即空间与空间穿插流通,重叠交错,界限含混不定。这种“不定性空间”存在于“围”与“透”之间,存在于“有”与“无”之间,存在于“内”与“外”之间。正是这种空间的不定性,赋予空间丰富而耐人寻味的意境,创造了新的空间感受。 在北京电视台室内庭院的设计中,我尝试了“不定性空间”的传统设计手法,以求在狭窄有限的空间环境里创造出丰富变化的新感受。
