奥尔夫音乐教育体系于20世纪20年代中期初步形成,在20世纪中叶获得了空前的发展,目前已成为当今世界最著名、影响力最广泛的三大音乐教育体系之一。声势教学法是该体系中五大教学法之一,它主张一切从学生出发,通过亲身实践,将节奏与音乐、舞蹈结合在一起,注重发挥学生即兴能力,发展学生创造力。在我国,将声势教学主要用于幼儿园和小学低年级,内容多为简单的律动、舞蹈和歌表演,其教育价值主要表现在寓教于乐中达到身心和谐,培养学生的节奏感、韵律感,促进他们感受和表现音乐。
