In recent years, the issue of ink painting display has plagued artists and curators. In modern showrooms, ink and wash paintings do feel visually weaker than paintings or other paintings. Traditional ink painting, especially the literati painting since the Yuan and Ming dynasties, is not only characterized by superb ink and brush, but also the atmosphere of literati and elegant people playing and appreciating in their own small circles. It should be said that most of today’s audiences are accustomed to understanding art from a single perspective. They can not appreciate painting as a whole, as the old literati did. In addition, modern exhibition halls are also a factor that undermines the appeal of traditional ink and wash paintings.
