大连东部港区离城市很近,原来是海港的油罐区和仓储区域,政府将先前的工厂迁走,在原有土地的基础上,通过填海造地又增加了4km2土地面积。未来,这里将被建设成为大连新的金融和商务中心,是实现大连打破以往禁锢的海岸线,真正走向开放城市空间的规划的一个举措。大连国际会议中心,就是东部港区开发启动的首批项目之一。它既是大连今后举办夏季达沃斯会议等大型会议的场所,又肩负了展示大连现代化水平和城市形象的责任。
The eastern port area of Dalian is very close to the city. Originally, it was a tanker area and a warehousing area of the harbor. The government relocated the former factory and added an additional 4km2 of land area through land reclamation based on the original land. In the future, it will be built into a new financial and business center in Dalian. It will be a measure for Dalian to break the coastline previously imprisoned and truly open up the plan for opening up urban space. Dalian International Convention Center is one of the first projects initiated by the development of the eastern port area. It is not only the venue for hosting large-scale conferences such as the Summer Davos conference in Dalian, but also shouldering the responsibility of displaying the level of Dalian’s modernization and the image of the city.
